Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

On behalf of the Keheley Elementary PTA, it is our pleasure to welcome you to our wonderful school community. We are looking forward to a great year filled with fantastic events, community building activities and, most importantly, supporting our kids and teachers so they can continue to attain excellence in education!

The primary way to make this the best year for your family and our community is to join the PTA! This is your chance to be a member of a great organization that helps fund and put together many of the events and programs you see around Keheley. These range from family and community engagement events like dances and bingo nights to academic excellence programs like Science Olympiad to outdoor projects like the sensory garden and outdoor classroom. When you join the PTA, you are not obligated to attend all meetings nor volunteer; you can participate as much or as little as you would like or are able, finding a perfect balance that is right for you and your family.

While there is no minimum commitment, we would love to have your active participation in the PTA. As a volunteer, you will be more connected to what is going on within the school. You will be able to establish better relationships with your child's teachers, as well as with the support staff and administration. You will meet other parents going through the same challenges, but who share a common goal of improving the school experience for our children. Most importantly, you will be a role model for your child. With your involvement within Keheley, you will show your child that you care not only about their success, but that you also care about the success of their friends and classmates. And that will help them to be better citizens and role models for their peers.

It has been said that the number one reason people don't join the PTA is because no one asked ... we are asking! And we ask that you consider asking extended family members like grandparents to join as one way they can support your child’s educational experience. Join us and help us make this the best year at Keheley yet!
